Voicebox

Voice I/O for builders is still split between cloud TTS and one-off dictation apps. Voicebox is an open local-first studio that clones voices, generates speech across several engines and many languages, dictates into any app, and exposes speak tools over MCP so coding agents can talk in a voice you own. Tauri desktop, privacy on-device, and API plus MCP keep it a full loop, not another sample-only TTS repo.
