Univer

Univer is an open-source Office SDK you embed in your own product. Canvas rendering, a formula engine, and a plugin architecture cover spreadsheets, documents, presentations, bases, and boards. The same stack runs headless on Node so agents can create, inspect, and edit workbooks without a UI. Companion projects add agent CLI, DeepSeek Harness plugins, and OpenClaw tools so humans and agents share the same files with reviewable drafts.

Founders building finance, ops, and BI products still glue Excel parsers to chat agents and hope the grid stays coherent. Univer is the missing surface: embed real editable office UIs, let agents hit the same APIs server-side, then let people review worktree drafts before merge. That is product infrastructure, not another coding TUI.

Install the core packages (or a preset), register plugins for sheets/docs/UI, and drive workbooks through the Facade API. For agents, use headless Node processing or the Univer CLI / harness plugins to create and edit content, then verify with inspection or screenshots. Live collab and worktrees sit on the Web SDK when you need shared review.

Not a hosted Google Sheets clone and not a file converter. You own the runtime inside your app, isomorphic browser+Node, plugin-shaped so you ship only what you need. Complementary to scrape/PDF tools and coding agents — this is the office harness they write into.
