Paperclip

Paperclip is a Node server and React UI that runs a team of AI agents like a company. You define a mission, hire agents on any runtime that can take a heartbeat — Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, bash, HTTP bots, OpenClaw — then assign work through tickets that carry full goal ancestry. Under the hood it is org charts, governance, skill studio, sandboxes, and cost controls, not another chat wrapper.

Founders already run fleets of coding agents and lose the thread: which tab owns which task, who spent the budget, what survives a reboot. Paperclip turns that mess into a task manager with company structure — review gates, monthly budgets that stop runaway loops, and portable org templates you can export without leaking secrets.

Stand up the server, create a company, draw the org chart, and attach adapters for the agents you already pay for. Drop goals and tickets; agents wake on heartbeats, check out work atomically, and leave auditable traces. Approve strategy from the dashboard or phone, throttle spend per agent, and pause or terminate anyone who drifts.

Coding harnesses and multiplayer ADEs optimize how one developer drives agents on a repo. Paperclip optimizes the company layer on top: roles, delegation, budgets, and multi-org isolation so many agent businesses share one control plane without sharing data.
